Warlock's Fate: An Andrew Moore Novel 03 Page 5
I grabbed her waist firmly and rolled, claiming the top, unable to take her teasing warmth against the top and upper sides of my cock any longer. I speared her hard and fast, buried myself fully in the sweet pleasure of her warm and wet, tight sex.
She gasped out, “Andrew,” and grinded her body up against mine as I resumed our hungry kiss.
I felt a surge of love for her, when she said my name with such longing and pleasure. It cooled my insane lust, just a little bit. Then I started to long stroke her firmly. I pulled all the way out and then pushed in, finishing with a light grind that I knew would put pressure on her clit, and brush her G-spot. We weren’t making love, but I wasn’t quite fucking her either, as I broke the kiss and stared into her eyes. My long strokes in and out of her body were quite firm as she met me, but I wasn’t going fast, nor slow, but more a measured relentless pace that I could maintain for quite a while.
Her eyes widened, “Fuck, don’t stop,” she said in breathy gasps as she started to tremble and shake below me.
Stop? Like that would happen, she felt incredible, and I neither slowed down, nor sped up, and just kept stroking in and out of her body at that same firm relentless pace. The tight liquid friction against my sensitive cock was filling my body with euphoric pleasure, and the way she trembled and came below me made it even better. Like her tight little pussy was begging me for my seed.
Cum for me Lilith. She screamed in pleasure again, and I extended it as much as possible with my inexorable pace.
I simply thought it at her hard, I loved that she was in my mind, she was mine. I felt like I could last forever at this pace, pleasuring my sexy succubus. But nothing lasts forever, and when she came for me again, her soft light brown eyes widened with pleasure as she stared into mine, I lost my control, and felt my balls boil, and my legs go numb, and I pumped into her hard, twice more, and filled her with my seed.
“I love you Lilith.”
Her eyes went wide, and vulnerable, as she came down from our last shared orgasm.
“I love you too Andrew, more than you’ll ever guess.”
I rolled off her to the side, and pulled her against me where we shared a slow soft kiss.
She looked at me abashed, “That was amazing, but I didn’t pull you in here to fuck. I got… distracted.”
I laughed, “Wow, I totally seduced a succubus with my ass talk. Good to know.”
She giggled, “Jackass.”
I sighed and relented, “Alright, what did we need to talk about? And no clothes yet, I want to hold you some more.”
She bit her lip, “Umm, have you ever heard of Nephilim?”
I nodded, “Half angel and half human children. Why?”
She said, “Well, they used to be considered abominations in the past, because they inevitably had the powers of an angel, but without the rules and guidelines. But… I’ve always wanted a child, and I believe with love and caring, instead of the way angels cruelly abandoned their children long ago, things would turn out differently. I hadn’t thought about it in millennia, but this body and my love for you…” she trailed off.
I asked, “Lilith, are you asking me to give you a child?”
The idea kind of turned me on, but that was a huge responsibility, wasn’t it? Our child would have free access to both elemental and infernal power, and be extremely powerful.
Lilith bit her lip, and looked guilty.
I tilted my head, “Are you telling me your already pregnant?”
Lilith said, “Yes, I… got carried away in the moment, a little over two weeks ago, right after you knocked up Katia, which is where I got…” she cut off as I kissed her tenderly.
Lilith looked relieved when we stopped kissing, obviously she’d read my reaction correctly. She had, I was… incredibly turned on, and blown away. I was going to be a father times two. The Nephilim thing would work itself out. Did she really think I’d be angry? I guess I could have went that way, but I loved her, and if a kid made her happy, she was getting a kid. It made me happy too.
Wow, I totally knocked up an angel, go me!
She slapped my chest and giggled, “Goofball, I love you Andrew.”
I leaned down and whispered in her ears, “I’m going to make love to you now.”
I kissed the tears of joy from her cheeks, as I moved above her, and slid back inside her heat, very slowly. My Lilith, my succubus, my demoness, my vulnerable and beloved angel…
Chapter Seven
Julia sobbed, and felt like a selfish bitch.
She was happy for Lilith, and Katia, but she was also insanely jealous, and was cursing her preternatural hearing while she listened to them make love, all the way from the black couch in the study. She’d heard every word of their conversation, and when she heard Lilith was pregnant, a wave of sorrow had rolled over her from nowhere.
She was such a selfish bitch. She had so much, she was happy with Andrew, and loved him to distraction. She loved Lilith, Julia, and even Samantha had started to worm her way into her heart.
Her life was full, and she had everything. Except… her and Andrew could never have a true mating bond, and share emotions like the shifters did. She could also never have his child, and it was that latter one that was killing her right now. Ironically, it was her happiness that was to blame.
Twenty years ago, when the males of their generation had paired off, she’d been resigned to never having children when she wasn’t one of the women chosen. Even had she mated with a wolf shifter, or bear, or any other, she would have had the mating bond but still no children. She’d thought she had fully come to terms with that.
And she had, until Andrew entered her life like a miracle. Until he’d turned her life upside down, and had fallen in love with her as she’d fallen in love with him. It was the way he’d made love to her the other night, and how they’d admitted and spoken of their strong feelings and love for each other. That’s what had stirred and woken this pain.
She ached to have his child, to form the mate bond, and she couldn’t. It was impossible. Her old desires for a child had come rushing back a hundred-fold, the sadness she felt twenty years ago was a pale echo of the gut-wrenching sobs she was trying to stop, or at least keep quiet. She felt so selfish, she had power, had managed to help save her cat shifter pride from horrific circumstances, and had found the love of her life, the man she could give all of herself too, the man who met every one of her emotional, mental, and physical needs. She was happy, damn it, she really was.
She had so much, her personal life was so rich. That was what set her off, it was so close to being perfect, and everything she wanted, but she would never bear him a son or daughter, never feel a life grow under her heart. Lilith and Katia were pregnant, and she knew the mage wouldn’t be far behind. She was his guardian, his protector, and twice unable to have his children. As a vampire, she couldn’t support a pregnancy, her body would reject the change, and as a cat shifter, she wasn’t his species.
The second obstacle could be overcome with magic, the first made it impossible. So, she curled up on the couch, and sobbed, for her and Andrew’s children, that would never be born, never exist. She knew she was being selfish and unreasonable, but her instincts wanted what they wanted. She may not have the mating bond with Andrew, but she felt in her heart that he was her mate. Between that and the other pregnancies, it had hit her hard. An old hurt that she thought long buried and dealt with, come back with a vengeance.
She’d get over it with time, and love on her nephews and nieces? Step-daughters? The second one she thought. She was happy, but she had to work this out of her system. She sat up suddenly and wondered how long she’d cried, because she heard Lilith and Andrew headed her way. She looked at the desk, there were three cold cups of coffee there. Well, Andrew would warm them up with a spell.
She kind of panicked a little when they came in, and Lilith came over and pulled her into a hug. It was kind of a mess, and embarrassing, but they’d coaxed what was wrong out of her, and
she felt a little better for talking about it. Andrew held her and she felt safe curled up in his lap. She loved him so much it hurt. She’d be okay, eventually. She just needed to grieve…
Annaliese pondered her next move as she ate her bacon double cheeseburger. It was a guilty pleasure, and she sighed in satisfaction as she took another bite of the fast food meaty goodness. She did prefer nicer restaurants of course, but considering she’d lived through the dark ages, this stuff was fine cuisine. She was also getting a bit thirsty.
She chowed down the rest of her burger, while her mind turned over her next move, and absently followed a woman in her late twenties into the bathroom. A simple glance and her compulsion had the woman’s eyes glazed over, and before the door even finished closing, she had her teeth buried in the woman’s neck.
Taking blood from a human had as many effects as a person had moods. Right then, she was in an intrigued but good mood, and the essence of the demon’s magic caused the young woman to stiffen and moan in her arms. With a little more effort, she could make the woman cum, or scream in pain and terror, and anything in between. She tended to avoid both of those extremes when feeding though, and settled for just making sure the human enjoyed it as she feasted on blood, feeding her animal demon’s thirst.
For her, the feeding was intimate and quite pleasurable. It could be mind-blowing during sex, for both the donor and drinker, but she avoided that sort of thing unless she was with someone at the time. The idea of sleeping with different men every time she drank blood was repulsive. If she needed an orgasm that bad, there were better ways.
She finished, just over a half a pint’s worth was more than enough, and she licked the woman’s neck to seal and heal the wound. Then she ordered the woman, “Forget this happened, and forget me.”
The woman smiled dreamily, and went into the stall. It wasn’t a bad thing, the human would be extremely happy the rest of the day, although she wouldn’t be able to figure out why. Also, if the human was married or dating, her man, or woman as the case may be, would be extremely happy later tonight.
She went out and left the restaurant feeling sated, at least with food and blood, and considered how best to approach the warlock. She could break into his home easily enough, wards couldn’t stop her, any more than they could stop Julia, but that would be a foolish thing to do, even if rather expedient.
She could go to his building, but she didn’t have any contact numbers to reach him, and the idea of lurking there waiting to be noticed wasn’t a good one. She also discarded the idea to get the information from the mages, that wouldn’t work, she doubted she could get it out of them. She finally settled on going back to the cat shifter pride. She could have them call him, maybe Gina would even agree to host a meeting? She wondered if that would be seen as threatening by the warlock, or perhaps like she was pulling some kind of intimidation tactic. That wasn’t her plan, it could probably go either way though, but she didn’t have a lot of choices. None of the coven’s reports had a contact number, and she wasn’t going to contact him for the first time by e-mail.
The idea lacked the personal touch.
She headed back toward the pride, she should have thought about this possibility before she’d even left, but then she wouldn’t have been fed and relaxed, and she’d needed to consider everything else as well. She wasn’t even sure this last step was necessary, everything seemed to point at Andrew being different, but the warlock could be playing a long game. Plus, she wanted to satisfy her curiosity.
Most warlocks had their patron and a guardian, and that’s it. This one had a human and mage lover living with him as well, and had the cat shifter alpha panting after him. That made her curious.
It was late in the evening when she arrived at the cat shifter mansion, and she realized her mistake almost immediately. She’d forgotten in the evenings that the cat shifters would be entertaining others. Their sexual needs because of their genetics were well known, and she should have known better. In her defense, despite her age she hadn’t spent much time with shifters over the years.
Still, she was taken by surprise as she heard two low growls as she approached, and two werewolves and a bear shifter charged her. Well, the surprise lasted almost long enough for the three to leave the porch.
She considered her options, and brought up her shadows, then jumped onto the roof and hid in the shadows of an eave. It was embarrassing, she felt like an amateur as the shifters prowled below her looking for her scent trail, and then looked around in confusion. Better that than fighting them she supposed. She closed her eyes and listened for the alpha’s voice, and felt for her aura.
The alpha was in her office, and as far as she could discern, the woman was alone right now. She shrouded herself in shadows, slipped in the nearest window, and moved so quickly through the hallways that the shifters wouldn’t perceive her passage. She smirked, knocked on the office door, and walked in.
“Hello again alpha,” she smiled politely.
Gina frowned, “What do you want this time?”
She decided the truth would work best, beside the fact that Gina would scent a lie, the shifter would want to do it, so she could be present to protect him during Annaliese’s little meeting.
“My investigation is almost complete, and I don’t believe I will be at odds with the warlock. I just need to talk to Andrew. Unfortunately, I have no way of contacting him. I thought you might share his number, or perhaps call him yourself and host a meeting? I have no intention to do harm, to you, your people, or him.”
Gina said, “Intention?”
She replied, “If I’m attacked, I make no promises.”
Gina nodded, and picked up her cellphone. The alpha’s phone call didn’t take long, and based on the conversation she knew the shifter had already told and warned the warlock of their last conversation yesterday.
Gina said, “They should be here any moment.”
A loud knock sounded against the door.
Gina called out, “What is it?”
Another cat shifter said, “There’s a vampire on the grounds! Two wolves and a bear chased it off, but there’s no scent trail. It jumped, but they can’t find where it came down.”
She giggled, which drew a glare from the alpha, and she shrugged back a little sheepishly.
Gina said, “It’s fine, it’s that pain in the ass female again, she’s in my office.”
Ouch, that hurt her feelings a bit, Gina’s scent showed she was telling the truth. Then again, she could hardly blame the alpha, she’d marched in here and practically demanded an interview.
There was a pause, and then the shifter outside said, “Are you sure?”
Gina replied, “Yes, everyone needs to stand down… and relax.”
The other shifter moved away.
“Sorry about that, I wasn’t thinking about you hosting visitors when I came back.”
Gina sighed, “It’s fine, forget it…” she trailed off as Andrew popped into the room with three others.
She looked them over while casually leaning back in the chair. She gave Andrew one of her best smiles in greeting, and managed to make his lips twitch despite himself. That told her a lot more than the simple fact she could draw him out, it told her he was unused to masking his emotions, which would be useful along with his scents.
“It’s rude not to stand to greet you, but under the circumstances I thought that might be best. I’m Annaliese, a very old… acquaintance of Arthur’s.”
He replied carefully, “I’m Andrew, this is Lilith, Julia, and Samantha,” as he waved his open hand toward each.
He asked, “What is this meeting about?”
She drew up her power and shadows flared around her body like angry wasps, and then settled. Andrew had backed up and Julia looked to be a second from attacking.
She said, “My apologies, I mean no harm, tonight all we’re doing is talking,” she turned to Samantha and looked at her sternly, “Do not do that again, or you’ll make a liar out of me.

Samantha said, “It wasn’t meant to do harm, unless you attacked us first. Even then, it was non-lethal.”
The mage had cast some thin web of magic around her, she’d torn it apart. She was fascinated, she imagined most wouldn’t have even noticed. She waited for them all to calm down a bit.
“I want to make it clear I’m not holding anyone hostage here, Gina and her pride are safe from me no matter what decision I make regarding you, that is my promise.”
She waited for that to sink in, and noticed they all relaxed, it was obvious to her Gina’s affections for the warlock and his mates were not just one way.
“It was requested of me to investigate you and make sure you aren’t a threat to the coven. Actually, that’s a bit of an evasion, I was asked to kill you all, but I don’t do that sort of thing without reason. The investigation was mine.”
Andrew frowned, “So why are we here?”
She smiled, he was a handsome one, but there was much more to him given the amount of loyalty and concern for him, which she scented from everyone else in the room.
“What do you want this meeting to be about?”
Andrew scowled and asked, “Riddles? I don’t like to be played with.”
She smiled wider, “But I’m not playing. I’ve already told you I’m evaluating you as a threat to the coven. What you want to happen in Seattle and specifically between us, is a big part of that. Should I rephrase the question, or would you like to ask me one instead?”
Andrew asked, “So does that mean there will be true peace between us and the coven?”
She asked, “True peace?”
He nodded, “Right now fear keeps Arthur from attacking us, but that isn’t true peace. I’d prefer it if we just live and let live. I have no interest in his businesses, or fighting.”
