Mike Stedman 1: Invasion Page 7
Nadia stared at him intently for a minute, “You really aren’t fucking with me, are you?”
He laughed, “No. Just warning you, and you won’t give offense if you say no either, but it’s bound to come up. They haven’t met many humans outside of my father. Although, they have the DNA of three of my mothers, from off his android body I understand.”
He shivered at the thought.
Nadia asked, “Do you plan on… sharing pleasure with them?”
“No, it’s too creepy. Their human form is basically an amalgam of my own mothers, and my father is still sleeping with the empress and princess, and sharing lovers with my father, with woman who have my mothers’ DNA, isn’t something I want to contemplate much less do.”
Nadia laughed, “Well, I think I’ll say no as well, I’m not into casual sex at all.”
For some reason, he was quite happy to hear that, which disturbed him. He was still somewhat annoyed at the way she’d acted earlier.
Nadia asked, “So what’s there to do on this tub? We have what, another sixty and some odd hours to go?”
Chapter Ten
When they were alone in bed later on, resting between rounds, he was curious about earlier.
“So, what was with the full polyamory explanation, you pulled out all the stops.”
Chrystal laid her hand on his chest, and kissed his chest, her soft honey brown hair was splayed across his chest, and felt good against his skin.
“I would’ve thought that was obvious, you must still be annoyed with her.”
He asked, “Obvious?”
She giggled, “Well, just planting a seed, she might not be interested, but I saw the way you looked at her when she got out of the car, she’s exactly your type physically.”
He nodded and caressed her back and shoulders, “True, but she’s…” he waved his arms.
She said, “She’s what? Smart, flexible of mind, observant, intelligent, hates the way she’s followed the rules and keeps getting fucked by society as men cheat on her? Alluring, stunning, gorgeous, sexy? So, she had a bad morning, it’s not a crime, is it?”
He shrugged, “I just didn’t know you were recruiting for another in our relationship. I’m perfectly happy with how things are right now.”
She smiled, and kissed him again, “I know, me too. I hadn’t planned to, at least not for a while, but it was an opportunity that fell into our lap, and she asked about it. Even if she was partially turned off by the idea, she was also genuinely curious and open minded enough to listen. She’s also brave, she’ll be on Xaran nine out of ten days without us around, alone, on an alien world. She seemed completely confident about that. She impresses me, and I know she impresses you too, once you get past your annoyance at her first impression. Truthfully, it probably won’t amount to anything, but we’d never find out if we weren’t open to the idea.”
He kissed the top of her head, “You sound a little taken with her already.”
She giggled, “Jealous? I wouldn’t say taken, I’d say open to the possibilities. Intrigued perhaps?”
She reached down and grabbed his cock firmly.
“Tell me her voluptuous body isn’t hot? That it doesn’t make you want to hear her scream your name as she bounces on your cock, with those huge tits bouncing in your face.”
His cock twitched, traitorous thing.
She snickered, and started to stroke it, “Like I said though, it may amount to nothing, and won’t happen tomorrow, or probably not even on this trip. She has a lot to think about. At least we know she’s attracted to us.”
He almost asked how she knew that, because he hadn’t until she’d just said it, but decided to hold his peace.
She continued to stroke him until he was hard again, and then she mounted him in one smooth movement.
She was so beautiful, and erotically sexy, as she looked down on him with desire in her eyes, her lips slightly parted, and her long hair hung down and tickled his chest as she reached between her legs to line him up.
He said, “You win, but no I wasn’t jealous, just a little surprised.”
It was true, as long as it was another woman, attraction wouldn’t bother him.
She sighed in pleasure as she sunk down his pole, she’d almost gotten half of him in on one stroke, still wet from round one. Then she rose up and spread her juices, and dropped down impaling herself fully on him.
“Mike, shut up and fuck me,” she said in a sultry demanding tone of voice.
He thought that sounded like a really good plan, and grabbed her hair and pulled her down into a hard kiss, and rolled.
She gasped as he broke the kiss, grabbed her legs and put them over his shoulders for maximum depth, and started to drill into her hard and fast.
“Fuck that’s good, don’t stop. Fuck me Mike,” she said breathlessly.
He reached down between them and got his thumb wet, and then worked her clit with light pressure over the hood while he continued to slam into her hard and fast. When he started to feel her tremble and stiffen, he slid his soaked thumb past the hood and grazed her clit directly.
She screamed his name as her body bucked beneath him, and he just kept going, avoiding her clit for a minute or so until she’d come down. She looked up at him with love, lust, and surrender as she just let the pleasure his body was having on hers take her to ecstasy, she moved her body with his as the best she could while pinned down, getting him as deep as possible.
“I love when you take me like this, I feel so vulnerable pinned down beneath your body, and fucking love it. Fuck, fill me Mike, fill my pussy, I need it.”
He grunted and felt himself expand and stretch her out further, as his balls boiled.
She gasped in pleasure at his orgasm, and his thumb pushed down on her clit, which launched her into another of her own, and they locked their eyes together as they joined in intense rapturous ecstasy.
He leaned down and kissed her as they came down, his mind and body sated, satisfied, and a deep well of love and tenderness rose up inside him, as the heat of his hard and fast claiming cooled. He would do anything for the woman under him, and she was his. His to love, his to protect, and he was hers. Always…
The rest of the three day trip they got to know Nadia a little better, and they seemed to come to an understanding. He eventually did get over his first day annoyance with the woman, and though he was open to the idea she didn’t show any true interest in joining their bed.
She did show a bit of curiosity, though they didn’t even talk of polyamory or anything like that again, but she watched them all the time, and at times looked a bit wistful at what they had.
He wasn’t the best at judging, and figured Chrystal would clue him in if he really needed to know. He believed she was just gun shy after her failing relationships, and the most recent one, not to mention she would have to get over the whole monogamy thing, which might not happen at all. Either way, he had no interest in pressuring her, but he was open to getting to know her better, if she had been.
Nadia was twenty-seven, and from what she’d told them, she’d started working in government right after she graduated college at just nineteen years old, which was two years early when she received her four-year degree. Her major was languages, and she was a certified translator in six languages outside of English, and knew three others enough to get by on a vacation.
Chrystal had definitely been right about the intelligent and open minded part.
As far as her government work, she did mostly translating during some sensitive negotiations. Both he and Chrystal thought she was also in intelligence, but of course she couldn’t, and wouldn’t, share something like that. Another thing he figured out was her job was a little more than she’d let on about. She also wanted to make sure there were no threats to Earth, or specifically, Australia.
The Xaran empire kept the peace, and demanded all races left the other races sovereign territories alone. That kind of magnanimity was rare in humanity, but fit right in wit
h the Xaran’s philosophy and their intellectual approach to life. Still, he couldn’t blame them for not taking his father’s word on it, and wanting to see for themselves.
In short, she was eminently qualified to be an assistant while negotiations between governments and races were going on. Not that she was there for that, but he thought it was a point.
She was fairly cagey about her personal life, outside of learning she’d accepted this assignment a month after her last boyfriend cheated on her, and seemed to want a break from dating. She thought the time away from Earth would give her that break, and she was excited by the challenge of trying to learn alien languages and the body language for the disparate races.
She’d explained the translator gives a good translation of the words, but the shades of meaning are lost if you can’t read a being’s body language. They kind of knew that already, but it was a challenge she was looking forward to. How to relate to other species would be a challenge, especially the ones that weren’t even humanoid, which was twenty-four of the thirty-eight members.
Of course, he and Chrystal had a heads up on that one already, because of his mother Mia’s analysis of the data they’d gotten from the Xaran ship, the A.I.s already knew about some of those cultures.
Still, some of their thoughts and the things that drove them were so alien, it was impossible to really relate even with that knowledge outside of the simplest concepts. Safety, shelter, food, resources. Things like that were universal concepts, no matter the disparate races’ shapes or psychology, if not the way the various races approached them.
At the end of the three days, he was as Chrystal suggested, very impressed with Nadia. Still, their relationship could be best described as comfortable business partners, or perhaps even tentative friends. He was willing to help her out where he could, and she seemed to at least enjoy their company.
It could have been better, but it also could have been a lot worse.
Chapter Eleven
They dropped out of subspace into the Xaran system just two hours before the senate meeting.
“We ready to go?”
Nadia nodded, “Packed and ready.”
The ship dropped into the atmosphere, and landed on a platform that automatically adjusted to their ships size, and they walked over to the airlock.
“You have your breathing mask?” he asked Nadia.
She grinned, “Yes dad, I used the bathroom too.”
Chrystal giggled.
The atmosphere was close to Earth’s, but not that close. She wouldn’t need a mask inside her own quarters though, or the whole building that was built and assigned for humans near the palace. Everywhere else she would.
The atmosphere was close enough however for androids, who just needed an atmosphere that wasn’t toxic to skin, they didn’t really have to breath at all, but some environments were toxic to them.
He sighed and said firmly, “Behave, don’t make me ground you.”
Chrystal asked, “Which one of us?”
He shrugged, “Take your pick.”
He winked at Nadia as she gave him a mock look of outrage, and left via the airlock which popped open at his thought. They didn’t have transportation here, the Xaran’s rolled everywhere in their amorphous bodies, or if they had to go far they took the form of large birds of prey and simply flew to their destination. Luckily, the spaceport was just two miles from the large palace.
He turned to Nadia, “So you want to be roomies?”
Nadia lifted an eyebrow.
“I don’t know when the ship will be back, I have an android body here I’ll probably occupy every ten days like my father does. But if you ever get lonely for conversation you can shake it or something. Separate bedrooms of course.”
Nadia smiled, “That would be nice, thank you. I’m sure I’ll be mostly fine, and I can always talk to my friends and family through the quantum connection. I do have full immersion implants for meeting people online, but it might be nice to see a friendly face up close for real.”
He turned to Chrystal, “We haven’t talked about it, but maybe you should leave one here as well, it would be nice to have you at the meetings.”
He felt guilty, he should have thought of leaving a body here for her earlier, much earlier, but then she hadn’t mentioned it either.
Chrystal said, “I’ll send the specs to Xia.”
She could have built it herself, but they were still hiding the technology in their ship.
He frowned and turned back to Nadia, “You know, if you have the full immersion implants my mother Silvia developed, we can hook you up with your own android. It would take you a couple of days for your mind to get used to it, but then you shouldn’t even notice a difference.”
She smirked, “What, and join you on the ship?”
He shrugged, “I wouldn’t say no to the company, but I was thinking you wouldn’t be stuck here alone without human interaction nine out of ten days, it would work just as well from Earth as on board my ship.”
Nadia blushed as she realized she’d jumped to conclusions.
She sighed, “Didn’t know that was an option. Still, it will be good to be here in person the first time and possibly longer. One of my jobs is to determine how other races react to humans, and an android body wouldn’t get the same response. Let me think about it?”
He grinned, “It wasn’t, an option I mean, not from your end, but I can make it happen. And no, you don’t have to decide right now.”
They made it to the palace, and walked through the gates. It was his first time here, so he was fascinated by the blobs of flesh that were Xarans guarding the entrance. In their natural form, they had no shape. He was familiar with it of course, from talking to Xia and Xenia over quantum communications, but had never been here before to see it in person.
Chrystal was on his arm, and he almost jumped in surprise when he felt Nadia’s hand on his other arm. She’d never touched him before, and he guessed the Xarans made her a little nervous, which was fair. He was a little disconcerted himself, and he knew them much better.
They moved into the main throne room. There were thirty seven places all in a semi-circle around the throne, which was really more of a tub. He moved to the one assigned to the A.I. senator and took a look around, only about half the races were there so far, but they were over an hour early.
There was also no sign of the empress or princess, or his father. He refused to think about what that meant and took a seat.
He looked around. Some of the races were odd, and looked like bugs, or arthropods, or… he didn’t really have a description for some of them. Some of the races were humanoid, and looked like creatures from legend, or religion.
One group looked like angels, and he knew they were really a race who lived on the planet Miroth. They had porcelain colored skin, bright blue eyes, and a bright golden blonde color for hair, of various subtle shading. They didn’t have wings, but they did have a technology that made it appear they did, armor for battle that also granted flight. They had weapons at their belts that looked like long batons, and were only faintly reminiscent of swords.
Another humanoid race looked like elves, who were humanoids from the planet Selana-Esari, and yet another that looked like dwarves, humanoids from the planet Vun-Turuhm. The grays were present as well, a short humanoid race with large black eyes, and thin limbs from the planet Jazuno. He wondered just how many of these groups had visited Earth in the past, but hadn’t conquered it because the Xaran faithfully stood guard over them without their knowledge.
To be fair, they also could have just been explorers, that had no intention of conquering them in the first place.
The time passed quickly as he studied them, and others. Eventually his father walked in and took his place at the A.I. platform, followed shortly by the empress and princess who were both in Xaran form.
His father sent, “Prepare to be bored out of your mind. Nothing exciting ever happens at these things, they just chatter on about no
thing, and discuss any empty star systems in dispute, and make claims. Thanks for taking the assistant, how is that working out?”
He replied, “A little rough at first, but she’s turning into a friend of sorts. She knows nothing about the capability of our ship though, we’ve kept the secrets.”
Ted nodded subtly, “I had no doubts you would.”
The empress said, “The meeting is now started, are there any priority one issues?”
The angel or Mirosian which was their true name, something that looked like a six-foot crab but a little sleeker, and the elven or Esari senator stood up.
The empress said, “Speak.”
The Esari said, “Selana-Esari came under attack fourteen hours ago, I just found out two hours ago and decided to bring the information here and request aid from any available forces, be they Xaran or otherwise. The enemy ships have not been identified as any of our own, or our known enemies in the galaxy, and they’re extremely powerful. Their ships are two miles long, and destroyed our home defense fleet, though they have not yet successfully landed their craft.”
He sent to dad, “Nothing exciting?”
His father shrugged minutely, a look of chagrin on his face. To be fair, it was probably the first exciting thing his father had seen happen in these chambers for twenty years.
The empress asked, “How many ships?”
The Esari replied, “Just three, they are each two miles long, and carry hundreds of thousands of warriors according to our scans. They’re obvious goal is a ground invasion, but so far that has failed.”
The empress turned to the crab, “And your emergency?”
It said, “We’ve been invaded as well empress, three ships. We are in the same area of the galaxy as the Esari, we are also close by the planet Miroth, I fear this is an invasion from without given this information.”
